The nation of Namibia is grieving the death of President Hage G. Geingob, who died on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Lady Pohamba Hospital. The 82-year-old leader was with his wife, Madame Monica Geingos, and his children when he lost his fight against cancer at around 12:04 am. Vice President Nangolo Mbumba announced the sad news with deep sorrow, saying, “It is with great sadness that I inform you that our dear Dr. Hage G. Geingob has departed.
