1972 HITS ARCHIVE: Geronimo’s Cadillac - Michael Murphey (mono 45 single version)
Murphey’s debut hit (the original LP version ran 4:39) was a far cry stylistically from his more successful later ballads “Wildfire” and “What’s Forever For.” He would place 22 singles on the Billboard Country charts during the 1980s, changing his professional billing to Michael Martin Murphey in 1984.
