Kim Jong Un promises ’no more war’ amid claims North Korea has nuclear deterrent tech

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un has announced there will be no more war on the Korean peninsula, Sky News host Brent O’Halloran says. On the anniversary of the Korean War armistice, Chairman Kim told his people: “now we are capable of defending ourselves in the face of any form of high intensity pressure and military threats from imperialist and hostile forces”. “Thanks to our reliable and effective self-defensive nuclear deterrent, there will no longer be war, and our country’s safety and future will be firmly guaranteed forever.“ There has been an uneasy truce between north and south Korea since the Korean war ended 67 years ago.
