Malibu, by Hole, covered by Dee McLaren of Splendid Gentlemen, the Wedding Band from Glasgow, Scotland. While currently without any gigs in the diary due to the Covid-19 Pandemic I thought I would do what I can from home, on my own. Mainly songs I like personally, while I have the time to take liberties without it leading to an empty dance floor. However, if you have any requests, please feel free to comment below. This is a cover version of the Hole song Malibu, from their 1998 album, Celebrity Skin. I’ve had a copy of this since the early 2000’s. I’ve always liked it, but as I’ve grown as a musician I’ve come to really appreciate the songwriting craft on this album. Malibu was a stand out track that I’ve always liked, so I thought I would cover it.
