General rules for making singular nouns into plural
1. Add an “s” to the end of most singular nouns
2. Add “es” to singular nouns that end in “-ch”, “-sh”, “-x”, “-s”, “-z”
3. Change the ending “-y” to “-ies” if the noun ends in a consonant followed by “-y”
4. changes “-f” of “-fe” to “-ves”
