About Marcia Haydée
The Brazilian dancer and choreographer is considered one of the greatest prima ballerinas of the 20th century and performed with Rudolf Nurejew, Mikhail Baryshnikov und her partner Richard Cragun. She gained fame in 1962, when she performed in “Romeo and Juliet“. After being the prima ballerina of the Stuttgart Ballet, she became the company’s director (1976 to 1995). Since 1992, Haydée has been the director of the Santiago Ballet.
