This little live ’mini sampler set’ shows just SOME of Meshells vast ’genre-be-damned’ a killer cover of Joy Division to straight up jazz (and anything & everything in between) she’s a musician who’s always exploring, always going deeper below the surface to get to the heart & soul of the matter, no matter what the ’genre style’ might be. Known ’mostly’ for her Bass playing, she’s actually a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, writer, producer, arranger, composer & band leader. Does it all, and does it all little clip is just one example of the evidence of that...
