Biden rules out sending troops to Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has ruled out sending American troops to Ukraine a day after his much-anticipated video call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. However, President Biden said he made it clear to Mr Putin there would be severe consequences if Russia was to invade Ukraine. “There were no minced words, it was polite, but I made it very clear,” Mr Biden told reporters.
