“You really can trust me“ - Jake Armstrong, The Secret Circle Oh my amazing was mid season finale of The Secret Circle!? Amazing, right? I’ve never been much of a Jake/Cassie shipper before up until this episode. I mean, I really have enjoyed them together and thought they had great chemistry, but I always liked Adam with Cassie. (and Adam and Diana, ha) But then in 3x09 for some reason Adam really frustrated me. It’s like, dude, just pick from either Diana or Cassie and get over yourself! I always find in one episode Adam has amazing chemistry with Cassie and then the next its with Diana, and it frustrates me so much! Anyways, back to the beautiful Jake and really do like them. They are so unique and have great scenes together! I absoloutely adored Jake in this episode. I mean I knew all along that Jake was attracted to Cassie, but just his honesty in 1x09 and the consequences he faced were so tough, and yet he still picked Cassie over possible death! :O :D I really hope Jake returns in the next episode (which btw looks freaking amazing!) for good. He should totally be a series regular and not a recurring character! Voiceovers: Cassie: The fundraiser is tonight, and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go with me? Jake: I don’t think so. Cassie: Why not? What, I’m good enough to kiss but not actually good enough to go on a date with? I don’t understand. I thought we were heading in a good direction. Jake: Good direction? You’re a nice girl, but I’m not interested. Cassie: There’s something between us. I felt it. And I still feel it even in this second when you’re acting like a jerk. Jake: This isn’t me acting like a jerk, Cassie. This is me trying to be nice. The Lead Witch Hunter: You have feelings for her. Jake: None. I feel something between the two of us too. You just sort of took me by suprise from the first time we met. The Lead Witch Hunter: She trusts you. Jake: She won’t leave her friends. The Lead Witch Hunter: She will for you.
