The tests that can be done to identify the cause of the allergy, one is there is a blood test called the specific Ig E test. These tests can be done to identify various causes of allergy like food, pollen, greass or animal dander etc. There are specific skin tests also to identify the cause of the allergic reaction like skin prick testing. They are called as intradermal testing. A series of 50to 100 antigens can be identified which may be causing your allergic reaction.
