Week 1 Circles & Stitches Blanket Stitch, French Knots

My project for this coming year is to make a wall hanging for my living room from wool circles and I’ll use this opportunity to explore new stitches with you all. I think I said I had 20 blocks, but it will actually be 25. I used wool circles on a linen background. Size 9 embroidery needles, milliner’s needles, with Sue Spargo’s Ellana wool/acrylic thread, Valdani 3 ply cotton floss and Bella Lusso pure Merino wool thread, but you can use whatever you want.
