LYRICS
I was born with a pack on my back and I was raised to roam
I aint got no digs nor a dwelling I can call my own
Aint got no room for trinkets or mementos
Truck stop dining al a carte and continental
Going where the wind might blow I’m a traveling man
I go six string shooting on the corner just to raise some dough
Ply my trade in the clubs in the rain or snow
Sing my song about a whiskey or a double
Moving on at the first sign of trouble
Going where the wind might blow I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
I’m a traveling man… I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
I’m a traveling man… I’m a traveling man
Aint got no hat that I can lay so I can make my home
Aint go nobody to be calling on the telephone
All I want is in the bag that I’m a packing
Keep a moving I’m a keep a tracking
Going where the wind might blow coz I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
Whoa Whoa Whoa I’m a traveling man
I’m a traveling man… I’m a traveling man
Going where the wind might blow I’m a traveling man
Going where the wind might blow I’m a traveling man
Going where the wind might blow I’m a traveling man
ABOUT
The Lincolns are a 4 piece Teddy Boy band who play a mix of High Energy Rock n Roll, Rockabilly classics and originals with their own unique style and sound. Dressed in their drape coats, drainpipe trousers and creepers, The Lincolns punch out the songs with the same style, enthusiasm, and energy as they were played when things were really kicking off in the fabulous fifties. Already a regular on the Adelaide festival and dance circuit, they are now making a name for themselves interstate and have had amazing receptions so far. As The Lincolns say... When the Ted’s are boppin’, there’s just no stoppin’ that Teddy Boy Rock n Roll.
