After two days off to clear their heads and rest up after losing to Switzerland, the Czech Republic rebounded today with a 2-1 win over Denmark (Preliminary Round, Group S). But the Czechs, second win in the tournament, needed a shootout scored by Zbynek Irgl and a save by Ondrej Pavelec to avoid a historic loss.
