Age of Torpor - The Hunt // The Kiss

Hello, roleplaying people! Back with another track. This one is inspired by Vampire: the Masquerade and the act of hunting and feeding. Though I had planned a little something special in regards to video, the artist I was working with couldn’t see the project to fruition, so instead, have some footage of driving around outside of Brasov city :P The first part of the song has the Vampire slowly and carefully observing his surroundings and the mortals nearby, trying to find just the right person, taking in the night air, the lights, the smells, enjoying the chatter, the pleasant voices of the living, anticipating the pleasure of feeding. The second part is effectively, an audio translation of the act of feeding, the satisfaction and warmth the vampire feels while drinking the blood, and the ecstasy that the Kiss bestows upon the mortal prey. Both of them are wrapped in an ecstatic embrace that they don’t want to stop, but alas, it’s an eternity too short a moment. After the pleasure subsides and the Vampire regains their senses once more, they leave the mortal somewhere, groggy and confused, and walk away while the Beast within urges them to do it all over again.
