Vandenberg - Friday Night TopPop

Vandenberg is a Dutch hard rock band. The band, founded by guitarist Adje Vandenberg, was active between 1981 and 1987 and scored an international hit in 1983 with the song ’Burning Heart’. Vandenberg founded the band in 1981. Other members were: Jos Zoomer, (drums), vocalist Bert Heerink and Dick Kemper, bass. Ad Vandenberg has resurrected his hard rock formation Vandenberg. The 65-year-old guitarist has recorded an album in the United States and gathered new band members with whom he also wants to go on a world tour. He recorded the album in Los Angeles with producer Bob Marlette who also collaborated with Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper. Besides Ad Vandenberg as a guitarist, the new formation consists of Ronnie Romero (vocals), Koen Autumn (drums) and Randy van der Elsen (bass guitar). Rudy Sarzo (bass guitar and also known from Whitesnake) and Brian Tichy (drums) also contributed to the album. The new album ‘2020’ will be released end of May 2020 via Mascot Records.
