TB2 Bayraktar drones that emerged as a game changer for Ukrainian forces have reportedly disappeared from the battlefield. The success of the drone manufactured by Turkish arms company Baykar was widely covered in the early stages of the war. The Bayraktar TB2 drone had been effective against Russian armoured and logistics columns in the initial days of the war. The Ukrainian military released several videos of the TB2’s exploits and even dedicated several songs to the weapon. Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov said in June that Kyiv had received 50 drones from Baykar since February.
