Reverse Slicing - Swordplay Drill Class May 8

In this video, Ottawa Swordplay head instructor Craig leads you through a half hour solo drill class for longsword. This week’s focus is on techniques with reverse slices. Techniques in this class include the Basic Strike (Oberhau), Overtaking the Blade and the Offslicing from the Boar Guard, Tower Guard, and Gate Guards. This video was recorded live on May 8, 2021. This video was filmed following the public health precautions required for video production in Ontario during the April 2021 shutdown. Online members of Ottawa Swordplay can join the live class to ask questions and make suggestions for future classes.
