Hi everyone! :) I’m very proud of this restoration of the Queen concert at Hammersmith Odeon which took me 1 week to do, I literally spent my whole day and night on this project, despite that there are still a few flaws that I haven’t managed to fix, like the problem of audio desynchronisation present in Jailhouse Rock, Now I’m Here, and Don’t Stop Me Now. Otherwise all the other audio is perfectly synchronised and there are no other major problems. So to recap, after a good hour’s thought I decided to use the audience recording which I mastered and then mixed with the soundboard (which I remastered) then I thought the result sounded very good and I thought it could have sounded like that if we’d attended the concert. I also decided to upscale the video to 4K 50FPS and the audio to 5.1 Surround Sound, corrected the colours and brightness and sharpened the video. It’s one of Queen’s best gigs (maybe even their best), the whole band is on fire, the instrumental is incredible, and Freddie is in great form and delivers the best versions of : Let Me Entertain You, Somebody To Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, and We Are The Champions. And elite versions of We Will Rock You (Fast), We Will Rock You, Now I’m Here, and You’re My Best Friend.
