At one stage, his Supra was powered by the desirable twin-turbo 2JZ engine with a six-speed manual transmission but the enthusiast decided against trying to source a standard powertrain and has embarked on a slightly more unique project.    Whitsey has been detailing the ongoing build of the car for approximately two and a half years on the Retro Rides forums and it appears to be nearing completion.
