Today I’d like to share with you my rendition of Cantique Polonais ecclésiastique Le Thema Twoja cześć, chwała by Česlovas Sasnauskas (1867-1916) which I recorded at Vilnius University St. John’s church. Sasnauskas was an important Lithuanian composer of the Romanticism as well as an organist, choir conductor and singer. The Polish hymn tune “Twoja cześć, chwała“ is known in Lithuania too and is sung in processions for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
