Eurovision 1996 Allocation draw (After Pre-qualifying round) NRK

This is a clip taken from the Greek public broadcaster back in 1996 (Commentator: Dafni Bokota) . It was a live broadcast via NRK for the allocation draw of the 41st Eurovision Song Contest 1996, that would be held in the Oslo Spectrum Hall, Norway. After the pre-qualifying round where a total of 30 entries/countries took part, all national juries’ results were combined and calculated to shortlist the 13 nations that made it to the final (Norway was excluded from this procedure as they were the winners of the previous contest and were guaranteed a place in the contest). This is the time the countries that were successful, found out whether they’re in or out.
