I’m so glad Ryan from @60CycleHumCast invited me to spend some time down in San Diego for this event. I met some cool people, hung with old friends and FINALLY got to try the 5150 Iconic Combo Amplifier. The 5150 Iconic Series is the most recent (and most affordable) 5150 amp ever made. The last project Eddie Van Halen was involved with before his untimely death in October 2020, the 5150 Iconic amps were designed by legendary amp designer James Brown. That’s right; the OG 5150 designer is back home! I’ve had my eye on the 5150 Iconic head and 4x12 cab but Sweetwater provided us with the new 40-watt, 1x12 combo version. And in IVORY! This is the first time I got to play this amp. I had no idea what to expect from this amp. And personally, I think this might be the MOST VERSATILE 5150 EVER MADE! Great cle
