China overtakes Samsung to become the world’s largest chip producer!

Since the United States refused to provide high-end chips to China, China decided to start developing its own chips, and after a long time, China succeeded. According to reports, China’s chip production achieved a monthly increase in April this year, the first time in 16 months. Although, after the Biden administration took office, the chip war against China’s semiconductor industry has been kicked off, not all Chinese companies have developed an alternative plan. The administration has taken a series of steps to limit the development of Chinese chip technology and try to reduce China’s share of the global market, with the real goal of curbing China’s technological growth.          China is actively promoting the development of the semiconductor industry and improving domestic chip production by reducing the number of imported chips under U.S. restrictions. The latest National Bureau of Statistics data show that the country’s enterprises with a turnover of more than RMB 20 million achieved a 3.8% year-on-year increase in chip production in April this year, with total production reaching 28.1 billion units. This is also the first time since January last year that a monthly increase was achieved.          Welcome to Technology Future , this channel is about global semiconductor innovation and technological development!
