Mötley Crüe - Sumthin’ for Nuthin’ - Bass Cover - Spector Euro 4 LX-TW

Fun, Fun, Fun! This is a great party song from the 87 album Girls, Girls, Girls - I even broke a sweat practicing it! That album is how I first noticed the Spector bass sound. The main riff is brilliant to play once you catch the movement. The chorus is also interesting because it seems closer to the melody of the singing rather than Nikki’s usual pocket playing. Last but not least the intro run, and even more so the run before the outtro are super fun too! Nuthin’ extraordinary for the tone, just new GHS Boomers strings, neck pickup in single coil and bridge pickup in humbucker mode.
