Everything about Salmon

Salmon include several species of ray-finned fish in the family Salmonidae. Trout, char, grayling, and whitefish are other fish in the same family. Salmon are found in the tributaries of the North Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. Some salmon species have been introduced into non-native environments such as the Great Lakes of North America and Patagonia in South America. Salmons are widely farmed in many parts of the world. Salmon usually hatch in fresh water, migrate to the ocean, then return to fresh water to reproduce. The fish typically return to the exact place where they hatched to spawn.
