Ryōte-otoshi This is one of the Kata that’s most difficult to understand without an explanation. You are instantly cutting both the opponent’s wrists, which is what Ryōte-otoshi means. You must be able to do the unique Tenouchi (grip) of our Ryuha, Asayama Ichiden Ryu, for this Kata too work. You avoid crossing your wrists, and let the Tsuka handle rotate inside your right palm.
