Russian Navy Slava-class cruiser MARSHAL USTINOV transits Istanbul towards Black Sea- Jan 8, 2020

Russian Navy Northern Fleet Project 1164 Slava-class cruiser MARSHAL USTINOV 055 headed back to the Black Sea on 08/01/2020. Due to strong winds and currents, docking to Istanbul Sarayburnu was aborted. The cruiser was seen southbound on 05/01/2020 before anchoring off Moda point for the planned berthing at Sarayburnu during Vladimir Putin’s visit to Istanbul.
