A special FREE DOWNLOAD gift remix for ’Ces Gens-Lá’ which has been published in 1966. In their version, Gio Israel & OHAD transformed the original’s melancholic ballad about the despair of a hopeless love into a fascinating & groovy electronic tale, characterised by its sexy baseline, glorious trumpet and extremely pleasant electronic sounds, while keeping the original’s enchanting melody and legendary vocals by Jacques Brel. Here are some words by Gio Israel & OHAD about the inspiration behind this wonderful edit: Since we both come from a Moroccan family, we grew up listening to the greatest French chansonniers such as Charles Aznavour, Joe Dassin and Jaques Brel at our homes on a regular basis. Today, as a music producers we got the privilege to explore new, modern interpretation to one of Jaques Brel greatest classics - Ces Gens La (“those people”). It’s a great privilege of our time to be able to touch artistically in such a cultural gem and being able to bring it to new audiences through new musical design.
