Afghanistan/Kyrgyzstan/Tajikistan: Four Russian military planes evacuate Russian citizens from Kabul

Mandatory credit: Russian Ministry of Defence Four Russian Ministry of Defence planes with citizens of Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) member states, (Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan), took off from the Kabul airport as the ministry’s press service announced on Wednesday. People could be seen entering the plane, sitting on the seats, making phone calls, and eating dry rations. Also, the plane could be seen landing at the Aini airfield in Tajikistan and at the Kant airbase in Kyrgyzstan, from where people with bags disembarked. It is reported that about 500 citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and the CSTO countries were taken out of the Afghan capital.
