Louvre and Versailles evacuated after bomb threats in Paris

Two of Paris’ most visited tourist attractions have been evacuated after receiving bomb threats. Visitors and staff were evacuated from the Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace, as police searched the area after receiving written bomb threats. No one was hurt in either incident. The museum will reopen as usual on Sunday. 7,000 troops have been deployed across France to increase security after a fatal school stabbing in the country’s north.
