Yngwie Malmsteen - KK’s Steel Mill - Keyboard Solo / Like an Angel (For April) / Relentless Fury

Malmsteen had vocal delay issues to begin with but these were resolved by the bass player. The keyboard player tried to keep the show going whilst Yngwie walked off due to his dodgy mic / vocal set up. Malmsteen was incredibly loud but looked like he was having fun. The audience was quite quiet but I think they were suffering concussion from the stupendous volume, particularly when he used his bass pedals. On top of his blinding speed and articulate finger work (including his little finger), his vibrato is beautiful and his arpeggios were astonishing to me. Filmed from the far left with a Sony HX60.
