Do No Harm: Healthcare under siege and apartheid

Teach-in on the current healthcare crisis in Palestine sponsored by healthcare workers for Palestine. As of October 26th, the Gaza Health Ministry has declared that the healthcare system is in a “state of complete collapse.” There is no avenue for sufficient fuel, aid, electricity, water, and now telecommunications, and healthcare workers are struggling to provide care and safety for the ill and injured and the thousands taking shelter in hospitals and clinics. As the genocide unfolds, at least 7,326 people have been killed, including 3,000 children, 1.5 million internally displaced, 18000 others injured, with potentially thousands still buried under the rubble. Those that survive are treated without basic medications and medical supplies, such as antiseptics and anesthetics, are rare, all the while, staff and their family members remain targets of this relentless military onslaught.
