Gold And Silver Sculpture (1956)

O’Hana Gallery, London. M/S and C/U of a bronze bust of a woman; C/U of a green precious stone which forms the clasp of her dress. M/S of the Italian sculptor, Renato Signorini, looking around, presumably at his work, although he looks a little confused. M/S of his statue in solid gold and silver of the Madonna and Child; C/U of the statue as it revolves. M/S and C/U of a bust of Audrey Hepburn, also in gold and silver, as it revolves; it looks like she is in period costume for her role as Natascha in ’War and Peace’. C/U of her hairstyle from the back. Various shots of a sculpture of Queen Elizabeth II, cast in silver and covered in gold, it also features many precious stones in the crown and ceremonial dress, orb and sceptre. Commentator says “Even melted down it would be worth more than six thousand pounds!“ Note: mute neg is quite dirty and badly scratched. No print found. On file is a small news cutting about Signor Renato and a leaflet from the exhibition. FILM ID:41.2 A VIDEO FROM B
