Oscar Successful Spawn 02-12-2024

This is the second spawn for this year-old pair. The first, a month ago, failed. My discouragement then has turned to joy. No, we’re not out of the woods yet. Being a baby fish is tough, and there’s lots of adventure ahead. Things happen; young parents protect them and do their best to guide them to hidden places. Fortunately, they’re in an aquarium free from predators. My job is to keep the temperature up and offer the right kind of foods to keep them thriving. This is fun!
