Moment Secret Service finds Trump shooter’s body on roof

Graphic new bodycam footage shows the lifeless body of Donald Trump’s would-be assassin moments after he was shot by secret agents. The video shows local law enforcement and a Secret Service agent surrounding the corpse of the sniper, moments after he fired a volley of shots at former President Trump at a packed campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The gunman has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks – from Bethel Park in Pennsylvania, about 43 miles from the site of the attempted assassination – a high school student who was working as a nursing home employee. The footage, released Tuesday by Republican Senator Chuck Grassley, shows the military officials standing on the roof where the shots on Trump were fired from more than 400 feet away. Mr Crooks’s body can be seen lying prostrate on the corrugated roof beside them, with a seeping trail of blood.
