Storm Ciarán: five dead as floods wreak havoc in Tuscany

Five people have died in Tuscany as Storm Ciarán swept through central and northern Italy overnight, bursting river banks and causing severe flooding. Several people have been reported missing as of Friday morning. Storm Ciarán has caused more than 12 deaths across western Europe, with winds of up to 207km/h (129mph) being recorded.
