「Path of Exile OST」- Maven - Choir and Piano Cover

Original composition by Kamil Orman-Janowski, with lyrics I added in questionable Latin (available in cc). My other Path of Exile covers: Massive project is massive. Maven was a cosplay that I had about 80% done at the end of the Path of Exile Talent Competition last February, and ever since then it’s been sitting on hiatus. I finally got the motivation to finish it, and recorded a cover with it as well. First time working with LEDs, and that headdress was a challenge from beginning to end. Full disclosure, the vocals are all replaced by multiple choir parts off camera, since there was just no way to wear that headdress with the clinking chains and have a clean recording, not to mention my neck was already dying after recording the piano. I think I’ll avoid cosplays with giant head ornaments next time… Compositionally I went a bit more literal than I usually do for my covers, but not
