Evidence Audio SIS (Screw In Solderless) Plug

I don’t build typical stranded cables in order for them to sound as they should. That and a few other important things; however the solid-core conductor of my Monorail patch cable has kept me from offering the the ubiquitous (and only) other option of “shoving a needle into strands“ for solder-free contact. Solution? The inside of the SIS plug has a hole instead of a pin, and the inside of that hole has been very precisely threaded with a micro-CNC process. When you insert my Monorail cable into the SIS plug, the process of screwing on the cap actually taps the softer solid copper conductor and forms an air-tight connection as it threads into the tip of the plug. You can hang a small baby off the copper wire when it is screwed into the tip of the SIS plug. The connection is solid beyond reason. Close up the plug completely and the connection stays in pl
