“It’s Good To Be Home“! (1933)

Full title reads; “London. ’It’s good to be home’! Mr L C Thornton & Mr W MacDonald - liberated at long last from their Moscow prison - arrive - and keep their secrets!’ London. Crowds wait on railway station platform for arrival of train. A group of passengers get off the train and are given a warm welcome. The men - Mr Thornton and Mr MacDonald - stand at Microphone, one of them reads a statement to the press. The men move off through the crowd with the people who have come to meet them. N.B. Thornton and MacDonald were engineers working for Metropolitan Vickers in Moscow - they were arrested and held for a show trial. There colleagues returned to England in 33/34.
