Israeli Military Court - Evidence against Soldier not Conclusive

Amid a controversy over the shooting of an apparently subdued terrorist by an IDF soldier in Hebron, the IDF Chief of Staff, Lieut. Gen. Gady Eisenkot, sent a special message to IDF troops on Wednesday, saying that the army will support those who err in the heat of battle with an enemy endangering civillians and soldiers, but will fully prosecute those who deviate from moral and operational stadards. An IDF soldier sustained minor-to-moderate injuries when he was stabbed by two terrorists in the Tel Rumeida area of Hebron on Thursday morning.
