Tiny Combat Arena - Big Harriers vs F-5 Dogfight!

Tiny Combat Arena is on Steam! The fact that I can set up a bunch of AI Harriers now is a big deal and one of the big wins of all the recent work. Here’s a quick and cool little montage showing the AI flights (which are actually flights now, and not just planes near each other!) showing their stuff! Between all the AI behaviors that the new AI has, to support roaming smartly around in Arena mode, dogfighting in a way that doesn’t always end with both planes flying into the ground, and a flight model that means the AI has to be more aware of stalling and energy management, the AI/unified flight model work is finally nearing an end. A funny problem I’ve had while filming this is that the friendly AI is so good that every time I was about to line up on a target, a friendly plane would come in and strafe it down in one pass!
