WORLDS QUICKEST MK2 16V TURBO GOLF - @ 169MPH

Julian Hermann Bayer from JHB Performance was at Santa Pod Raceway for VW Action in his 1000 HP 16V Turbo Mk2 Golf. It runs a 50/50 AWD Setup, with Quaife gearbox. Checkout the 4 wheel burnouts....... I left just before his last run, thinking that would be it for the day, and Julian got another run in, beating his previous best by another 3/100ths of a second, with a @ 169mph. Luckily commentator Luke Stevenson who runs the VWDRC and European FWD Pages, managed to film the run, and kindly let me add it on to the end of my video. This puts Julian just ahead of the Boba Motoring Mk2 Golf that has run a . As far as I know the cars that run this engine are....
