MASSIVE Hornets’ Nest Removal, Squirrel eats Hornets, Seeing the nest being built from the inside! Swarm in Slow Motion! I removed this nest from the inside of a clients soffit, and was able to get incredible slow motion shots of the MASSIVE swarm! This nest was absolutely humongous and had a lot of larvae inside to be fed to my animals, including my squirrel, Humphrey! The European Hornet Nest that I had relocated to the box inside my barn is now MASSIVE and I have been getting shots of the nest growing for weeks. Im adding an update with highlights of some of my favorite and most interesting shots of the nest being built, and the behaviors and inner workings of the colony itself!
