DJ Trace & MC Ryme Tyme | 1994 Jungle Classics | Kool FM 94.5

Artwork by Take Me Back Pirate Radio Archives. DJ Trace was an established producer on the Lucky Spin Recordings Label. He started off on Don FM before making a switch to the prestigious Kool FM. He had bags of dub plates and was always playing fresh sounds. Trace and Ryme- Tyme were renowned partnership on Kool FM and the Jungle Scene, at raves like Kool Skool and Jungle Fever. The DJ and MC duo would rock the airwaves for many years on the 94.5 FM dial. One of Trace’s most celebrated tracks is “Sonar“ on Prototype Records, released in 1998. In 1999, Trace founded the DSCI4 record label, which is currently still releasing tracks. One of those releases was entitled “ Dibby“. Also teaming up with Optical on Virus Records to produce some absolute classics: Trace & Optical - Mercury Switch / Kridian (2000).
