Five years ago, with the planting of five and a half hectares of vineyards in the vicinity of the famous Guadaleste fortress, which is one of the most picturesque places in Spain and is visited by more than 2 million tourists a year, the Masos project began. It is a project to revive viticulture and wine-making in the La Marina Baixa area, with the first wines emerging in 2020 under the motto “small quantity and high quality“. His initiative was supported by all his brothers, Javier, Emilio, Pepe and Juanfer. Sergio is the youngest of them all. They are natives of the area, sons of the farmer Emilio Vidal and Maria Milagros. They are all very attached to the region and interested in developing viticulture in the Guadaleste valley on the slope of the Sierra de Aitana.
