Desk of Ladyada - OV5640 Camera module testing

Thanks to jeplers intrepid and unyielding efforts, we now have OV5640 camera module support in CircuitPython. This is a snazzy 5 MPixel camera module which can do JPEG encoding on-chip and auto levels. It’s a rather nice camera and given you can always use it at lower res like 320x240, we think this is our pick. We got a few samples from the camera manufacturer and interestingly enough, we got one version with a kinda fisheye lens (that works fine) and one version with a pinhole lens and a SECRET! You can still get them, heck they are one of the few things you CAN get! So if you want to make a one-shot timer or a mini synth, check out Digi-Key for all your 555 timer needs.
