Hidden Gem by the John Day River | Cottonwood Canyon State Park, Oregon

Day 2 of my late summer 2024(1st week of September) road trip to find desolate back country off pavement roads in Eastern Oregon! What an amazing park that I didn’t even know existed until the morning of this drive. I would love to camp here someday, would make a perfect stop if driving east from western Washington.
