Kungfu vs HEMA - Examining the Vital Target Combat Fights (Weapons Blunt Trauma Simulator League)

Does the ancient arts that we often lump into the word Kungfu match up against all the different arts we lump into Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA)? This is a question we explore as we watch and critique two matches from the VTC 1. Kungfu has been under a lot of scrutiny because people have been debunking a lot of the flowery motions that seem useless in a real fight. In these two matchups, we see a bowstaff match and a double broadsword vs HEMA sword fight. We get to really see if two styles of Kungfu training can match up against two types of HEMA training.
