Big Country - Peace Concert, East Berlin, 1988 (complete) + bonus track.

June 18, 1988. East Berlin - The Peace Concert For the first time on YouTube, here is the complete concert Big Country performed in front of 150,000 fans and when I say ’complete’ concert, keep reading below. I try, as much as I possibly can, to upload interesting Big Country stuff to watch and listen to and I hope this clip fits that category. For starters, ’Where the Rose Is Sown“ makes it’s debut on YouTube from this gig but more interesting than that even is that when the cameras stopped rolling on that night in East Berlin, Big Country actually came back on stage for another song after the crowd simply would not let them leave and performed one more encore - Harvest Home. I have edited it into the clip after the end credits have finished, so keep watching. Although it is audio only, it is fascinating for being perhaps the only time that Stuart has beckoned the crowd to sing the response to “In a harvest home“ with “Whoa!“ and not “Yoh!“ (1hr22min mark) Perhaps he thought “whoa“ would be more easily picked up by the crowd. Anyway, it’s all included in the clip, so I hope you like the little added treat. Stay Alive! Thanks for subbing and I look forward to reading any comments you’d like to leave. 01 - Restless Natives 02 - Where The Rose Is Sown 03 - Wonderland 04 - Look Away 05 - Just A Shadow 06 - Steeltown 07 - Porrohman 08 - The Seer 09 - Chance 10 - In A Big Country 11 - Fields of Fire 12 - Honky Tonk Woman 13 - Harvest Home
