Brock, Lanzetti, Ogawa - Drawing Song (Official Music Video)

Brock, Lanzetti, Ogawa - Drawing Song Stream/Buy here: From the album Drawing Song - Available 11/10/23 Stream/Buy here: Video shot & edited by Erin Harper Zach drew inspiration for “Drawing Song” while observing his twin daughters’ feverish creativity during the first Covid lockdown. With no social outlets to divert their attention the seven-year-old sisters would often spend entire days drawing at the dining room table. The opening bass figure of the song, played by Zach on the 6-string violin, represents the girls’ drive to finish their creative ideas while the ensuing violin melodies represent Zach’s thoughts as he watches them draw. Keita creates a multi-layered groove that propels the storyline while also punctuating each scene. The rapid-fire lines played by Bob before the solos, and by everyone at the end of the song, conjures the cacophony of excited “twin speak” as they describe and compare their drawings to each other.
